How do I shop at Speeding?


The shopping process is very easy. Click on the grey button below the product you wish to buy. This will then take you to another screen where you can increase the quantity if required or click confirm and you can carry on browsing, or alternatively if you just wish to purchase that item proceed to the check out.

How important is my e mail address and telephone number?
Extremely important. If your email address is wrong you will not get confirmation of your order and we cannot contact you in the event of a delay or other problem.

What credit and debit cards do you accept? ?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Switch, Solo, Visa Electron and Electron

My Switch card does not have an issue number. What should I enter when asked in the checkout??

Chances are this is a card issued by one of the Scottish banks. Simply enter a zero ( 0 ) and we can deal with it.

How are my goods delivered?

Orders are sent to you by Royal Mail second class Recorded Delivery. Occasionally items delivered direct from the supplier may arrive by carrier. If the parcel is very heavy we may also use a courier.

Why haven't you answered my question on this page?

We have tried to cover everything ....but it is possible you have a question we have not even considered, simply email me and we will endeavour to answer it mal@speeding.co.uk

Will someone have to sign for the delivery?
Yes, most orders have to be signed for.

What if no one is in when the postman delivers?

He will leave a card through the letterbox, this will advise you that a delivery attempt was made and your parcel is now at your local Royal Mail Enquiry Office. There will be a phone number you can ring to arrange another delivery or you can go and collect the parcel in person. IMPORTANT. The Royal Mail will only hold your goods for about 7 days, after that time they are returned to us. We reserve the right to charge postage on re sent items.

I placed my order and nothing has arrived.

We dispatch orders Mon to Fri so for example if you placed your order at 11 pm on a Friday night it will not leave here until Monday night at 4pm. Second class normally takes up to four days. Alternatively it could be we are having a problem with your credit card. Your card provider may not be approving the sale because the expiry date is incorrect, the issue number is wrong, you have given us the short number not the long number in the middle of the card or you are over your credit limit. When a card is refused we have no idea why. We do email you as soon as possible, though not everyone collects personal email on a daily basis. Also see answer above.

My goods haven't arrived and you have charged my credit/debit card.

Please contact us immediately so we can sort it out for you.

Can I return goods?

Yes you may return any goods but you must contact us within 7 days of delivery for a goods return note number and goods MUST be returned within ten days of the returns note number been issued.

What other information shall I send with any returned goods?

Please send us a note with your name and address and the order number, this can be found in the top right hand corner of the invoice that was on the outside of the parcel.

What do I do if you have sent me the wrong stuff?

Ben and our packers are very careful with all orders, occasionally mistakes do happen. Please contact us within 3 days of the order arriving and we will deal with the problem.

What do I do if the goods are damaged when they arrive?

Please contact us immediately and we will send replacement goods and deal with the damaged goods. We may collect them or ask you to return them and we will cover your posatge costs up to second class



We supply all our products in good faith, occasionally problems do happen and we will of course try to sort the problem out. E-mail us at sales@speeding.co.uk with a brief note of what is wrong. We will get back to you with instructions on what we are going to do.

What if my chosen goods are out of stock?

In the unlikely event we are waiting for stocks from our many suppliers around the world. We will hold your order and endeavour to get the goods to you as fast as possible. We do not charge your card until the day they leave here.

I have received some of my order but not all of it?

Sometimes due the nature of the order it may be packed in more than one box and they can arrive at different times or it is possible one or more items were out of stock, therefore we have sent all available items and the remainder will be backordered for you. Some items are delivered direct from the supplier/manufacturer and may arrive separately.

Why do you need to know make model and year of car?
Many items are vehicle specific, it allows us to check that you will receive the correct item/s

Why didn't I receive an e-mail confirmation of my order?

The most common reason is you have entered your email address incorrectly , or it may be your email provider has run out of mail box room for your account.

Are all your products road legal?

Most items are road legal. Any items that we feel could cause you a problem are described as NOT Road Legal in the product text. We accept no liability what so ever for any legal action taken against you and it is in your own interests to check with the relevant authorities.

Are my goods guaranteed?

Yes they carry the manufacturers 12 month guarantee

NOTE We accept No liability for any other costs what so ever that may arise as a result of purchasing, using or fitting products we have supplied. You should satisfy yourself that you or a competent person has fitted or attached the product correctly in accordance with the manufactures instructions (if supplied). All the items we supply are sold on the basis of a DIY fit. Furthermore we accept no liability for any damage/s or additional costs that may occur as a result of using any of our products.
